Centered around a cheerful pool and courtyard, rooms at the Beverly Terrace are super-compact: think train compartment-size. Bathrooms have shower stalls and are equally tiny. Plasma TVs and free Wi-Fi are among the frills. Rates are reasonable considering the upscale location on the West Hollywood-Beverly Hills border. Complimentary Continental breakfast, which visitors give high marks, is served outside by the pool. Pros: well-maintained and super-clean, reliable Trattori Amici restaurant on-site. Cons: small rooms, stairs mean limited access, busy intersection.

This hotel is quite quaint, to say the least. The rooms are ultra small. I'm going to say less than 400 sqft of space including the small bathroom. At $200/night I expect a little more. Although it is Southern California, there is no central heating, just A/C (I went in January when nights get down to 40 degrees).
When we first arrived the woman was very pleasant. The ambience was nice. The place was quiet. And there was a computer station for free browsing with free wi-fi if you need it. There is a free continental breakfast and free parking.
The downside for me was when I settled in and realized that the light in the closet doesn't work and the electrical outlet on one side of the room was out (there's only one other in the room and one in the bathroom). When I went to the front desk to inform the lady she basically took an "oh-well so sorry" attitude and that was it. And that I should just use the one in the bathroom. WTH? Nothing more. I decided that I was only staying the night anyway and I'd never return. Nor would I recommend this to friends. For $200+ a night, you can definitely get a better hotel with more room and heating… plus better CS.

we were charged for 2 room nights, when we only stayed for one. this was on february 2nd and we have yet to be reimbursed (one month later) seems the staff is not properly trained and there were issues with the computers. the hotel is beautiful, i loved it. but it felt pretty shady the way they are running their business (i used to work front desk at a 5-star hotel). and to think this was set up through a friend who is a friend of the hotel owner....
