Beverly Hilton Review

Home of the Golden Globe Awards, the Beverly Hilton is as polished as its glitzy address after some pricey renovation. Tower rooms have spectacular views of Beverly Hills and sizeable balconies. In-room bathrooms, though compact, feel expansive thanks to an opaque glass wall that faces the room and sliding door. Walls are yellow; furnishings include versatile, leather-top, oval work desks that swivel to the side. Flat-screen TVs and Bose CD players are standard in every room. The venerable Trader Vic's is now an indoor-outdoor poolside lounge—don't worry, you can still have classic Mai Tais and ogle the tacky tiki art. Circa 55 is the hotel's mid-century, modern-styled restaurant serving California cuisine. Just off the almost Olympic-size pool is the Aqua Star Spa—indulge in a spray-on tan for the true SoCal look.
