Fodor's Review:
The largest comic-book store on the West Coast (and female-friendly to boot!), this is a monument to the artistry, wit, and downright weirdness of comics. Toys, art books, graphic novels, tees (from Tintin to Teen Titans), posters, and a gallery with comic-related art and photography supplement the scores of comic books. Drunken Master (323/850-5758), inside Meltdown, stocks a few thousand Asian and world cinema DVDs, has all-region DVD players, and certifies its products as 100% bootleg free.
