Fodor's Review:
The Tropicana Bar, an outdoor, poolside lounge in the Roosevelt Hotel, had so much buzz the management had to tone it down. After the hotel's revamp in 2005 and the arrival of lightning-rod promoter Amanda Scheer Demme (now gone), the place became a ridiculously fabulous hot spot for celebs and their tantalizing misbehavior. After a brief hiatus, it's once again an A-list haunt thanks to new promoters, hot party boys, the Alliance. Inside the hotel, the even more exclusive Teddy's continues to pack in celebutants trying to avoid the paparazzi.
