The contemporary, French-inspired cooking of chef-owner Miki Zivkovic is a highlight of the Burbank dining scene. While the restaurant's shopping center location may be less than glamorous, its wood-clad candlelighted interior is warm and inviting. From the prix-fixe menu—at about $30, it's among the best deals in town—you might select fennel-crusted ahi with Niçoise salad followed by beef bourguignonne or lamb pot-au-feu, and finish with profiteroles. Like a genuine bistro, this is an unpretentious neighborhood spot.

Try the salmon with spinach - absolutely fabulous. Considering the room is tiny, the service was abominable. We waited forever for anyone to even acknowledge that we were in the restaurant in order to seat us, let alone give us menus and take our drink order.
