Fodor's Review:

After years of neglect, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel got a face-lift in 2005 and is once again a fashionable address on the Boulevard. This contemporary steak house, though, is far from a superficial change, as it succeeds in balancing hipness with the spirit of an American institution. Snack on truffled Parmesan fries, tuck into a grass-fed rib eye with salsa verde sauce, or try Scottish salmon in a red wine sauce. The decor—lots of leather, suede, and dark wood—is a modern take on Old Hollywood, but service has been expanded to the hotel's poolside Tropicana Bar, a hot scene for young celebs.
