Golden Gopher Review
The old-school vibe of this urban cocktail lounge is as much about the location as the venue. Don't be surprised if you're panhandled on your way inside this downtown spot, which manages simultaneously to be swanky (art deco columns, Victorian wallpaper), kitschy (golden gopher-shaped lamps, video games), and divey (there's a small liquor store inside the place for stocking up on your way home).
