Fodor's Review:
Home to the Lakers, the Clippers, the Sparks, and ice hockey team the Los Angeles Kings, the Staples Center also hosts ice shows, tennis, and superstar performers like Bruce Springsteen, Rod Stewart, and Madonna. This extravagant stadium treats its guests to high style, good sound quality, and comfortable seating. Of course, the more money spent -- the more luxuries! Though not open for visit except for events, the saucer-shaped building has made a permanent impression on the Downtown cityscape. It soon will be part of an enormous entertainment and convention complex on the surrounding blocks known as "LA Live," set to fully open in 2010.
