Malibu Pier

Malibu Pier Review

This 780-foot fishing dock is a great place to drink in the sunset, take in some coastal views, or to watch local fishermen reel up a catch. A pier has jutted out here since the early 1900s; storms destroyed the last one in 1995, and it was rebuilt in 2001. In 2004 private developers worked with the state and refurbished the pier, yielding a gift shop, water-sport rentals, burger joint, and restaurant. A surfing museum is also in the works.
