Fodor's Review:
This museum fills a charming 1912 shingle-clad Arts and Crafts estate and an adjacent gallery with a small but captivating collection of Californian modernist works and landscapes. You might find it hard to tear yourself away from the stunning ocean view from the terrace, though. But don't overlook the Children's Art Gallery; it has some especially lively pieces.
