Rose Bowl

Updated 04/01/2014

Fodor's Review

With an enormous rose on its exterior, this 100,000-plus-seat stadium, host of many Super Bowls and home to the UCLA Bruins, is impossible to miss. Set at the bottom of a wide arroyo in Brookside Park, the facility is closed except during games and special events like the monthly Rose Bowl Flea Market.

Rose Bowl Flea Market. This massive flea market, held rain or shine inside the Rose Bowl, features antique and vintage finds along with new items from more

than 2,500 vendors. Considered one of the best and most eclectic flea markets in the country, it draws hoards of fashion devotees and everyday bargain-seekers. Arrive early to beat the crowds, which tend to peak midday. Food and drink are readily available, and parking is free. 1001 Rose Bowl Dr., at Rosemont Ave., Pasadena, 91103. no phone. www.rgcshows.com/rosebowl.aspx. $8. 2nd Sun. of each month 9–4:30.
