Pacific Asia Museum

Fodor's Review:

Devoted to the arts and culture of Asia and the Pacific Islands, this manageably sized museum displays changing exhibits drawn from its permanent collection of 17,000 works and artifacts. It's not the place for blockbuster shows—instead, you'll find modest displays of ceramics, calligraphy, textiles, traditional robes, and the like. The building itself is worth a look: it's inspired by Han Dynasty structures and surrounds a koi fishpond.

  • Cost: $7, free 4th Fri. of month
