Kidspace Children's Museum

Fodor's Review:

Looking like a Looney Tunes cartoon, this activity-focused, kid-centric playground with oversize replicas of familiar objects offers lessons along with some fun. Imaginative exhibits invite kids to interact, while parents can gain tidbits of knowledge on earthquakes, animals, and insects. In the towering leaf, climb inside a sunny atrium; kids assume the role of ants on their daring ascent, while outside they can run and climb the grounds along a running river, or take on a tricycle race on the "Trike Tracks." It's a place practically built to wear out the little ones out and give parents a much needed break.

  • Cost: $9
  • Open: Tues.-Fri. 9:30-5, weekends 10-5
