Skirball Cultural Center

Skirball Cultural Center Review

The mission of this Jewish cultural institution in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains is to explore the connections "between 4,000 years of Jewish heritage and the vitality of American democratic ideals." The extraordinary museum, featuring exhibits like "Visions and Values: Jewish Life from Antiquity to America," has a massive collection of Judaica—the third largest in the world. A big draw is the Noah's Ark interactive exhibition, where children are invited to recreate the famous tale using their own imagination.
