Viceroy Review

Whimsy abounds at this stylized seaside escape—just look at the porcelain dogs as lamp bases and Spode china plates mounted on the walls. The compact rooms all have French balconies, and sexy mirrored walls. The mostly marble bathrooms have seated vanities and supremely refreshing aromatherapy products. Glamorous socializing takes place in the pool and cabana area amid all-white armchairs and divans. People-watch at the green-hue bar and lobby lounge. Whist, the hotel's attractive restaurant, presents market-fresh Cal-Med cuisine. Upper-floor, ocean-view rooms are brilliant at sunset.
