Fodor's Review:
A legendary Caltech hangout, this place serves up a burger the locals justifiably worship, plus potpies, a bargain lover's steak, traditional fountain drinks, and good pies (especially peach, pecan, or peanut butter). There are only a few tables, but you'll be treated right at a long counter filled with astrophysicists.

OVERPRICED o.k. food

If you expect to be ripped off for a greasy burger, generic fries, and o.k. service eat here. The Pies and Cakes are tasty but also way over priced. I didn't expect to pay $20 for cheeseburger, shared fries, and a pie. OVERRATED!RATING: 2.4
