Smitty's Grill

Fodor's Review:

Straightforward American fare is what Smitty's is all about. Black-and-white photos of Joltin' Joe, Ike, and a young Liz Taylor crowd the walls. You can depend on the steaks (half the price of a high-end steak house yet nearly as satisfying), but you'll also find respectable mac and cheese, barbecued ribs, cornmeal-encrusted rainbow trout, and corn bread baked in an iron skillet. If you're not in the mood for a fancy meal but don't feel like slumming it, Smitty's is the ideal compromise.
