Pink's Hot Dogs Review

Orson Welles ate 18 of these hot dogs in one sitting, and you, too, will be tempted to order more than one. The chili dogs are the main draw, but the menu has expanded to include a Martha Stewart Dog (a 10-inch frank topped with mustard, relish, onions, tomatoes, sauerkraut, bacon, and sour cream). Since 1939, Angelenos and tourists alike have been lining up to plunk down some modest change for one of the greatest guilty pleasures in L.A. Pink's is open until 3 am on weekends.

    Pink's Hot Dogs Review

    There is never a time, day or night (including late at night) when there isn't a line halfway down the block to this little hot dog stand. I personally don't like hot dogs with the casing on, but I'll make a slight exception with Pinks. Locals and tourists love this place. It is a Hollywood institution and a City landmark.

    For those visiting Los Angeles in the summer, keep in mind that if you go to the Greek Theatre for one of the concerts held there, you do NOT have to wait in the Pink's Hot Dogs line on La Brea -- you can get one (or two) at the Greek.
