Fodor's Review:
A classic Hollywood makeover -- formerly a nursing home, this spot in the happening part of Sunset Strip got converted into a smart, brash-looking hotel, the Standard, for the young, hip, and connected. (Check out the live model in the lobby's fish tank.) The hotel and especially the bar here is popular with those in the biz.
