Santa Monica Boulevard Review

For many gay and lesbian visitors, Santa Monica Boulevard is the Main Street of modern gay America. From La Cienega Boulevard on the east to Doheny on the west, it's the commercial core of West Hollywood's gay community, with restaurants and cafés, bars and clubs, bookstores, and other establishments catering largely to gays and lesbians. Twice a year, during June's Gay Pride Parade and on Halloween, in October, the boulevard becomes an open-air festival.
