Fodor's Review:
Half bar, half restaurant, and home to what the owners call "L.A.'s second-best chili" and the equally touted chili burger, Barney's Beanery serves more than 200 different beers. Established in 1920, it's second only to Musso & Frank in restaurant longevity in L.A. The funky decor, long bar, two pool tables, and assortment of air hockey, video, and even pinball games keep the relatively hip but unaffected crowd amused and coming back for more.
