Rustling up fun since the '70s, Cowboy Palace Saloon might just be L.A.'s last honky-tonk; if you want to tie up your horse, you can use the hitching post out back. Dance lessons, including the "electric slide," the two-step and many other country styles nightly and music (around 9) are free of charge. There's a weakly enforced two-drink minimum; on Sunday there's a complimentary barbecue.
