Fodor's Review:

Tucked into a bend of the Truckee River, this intimate lodge is a short distance from major ski resorts and the town center. Each of the rooms has rustic pine furnishings and comfy bedding; most overlook the river. In summer you can watch rafts skim the rapids while enjoying the daily barbecue lunch on the patio. Fuel up for a day on the slopes with a complimentary Continental breakfast. Pros: Beautiful site on the Truckee River, great lounge with a gorgeous curved wall of windows. Cons: Rooms fill quickly.
