Soule Domain Review

Rough-hewn wood beams and a vaulted wood ceiling lend high romance to this cozy 1927 pine-log cabin next to the Tahoe Biltmore. Chef-owner Charlie Soule's specialties include curried almond chicken, fresh sea scallops poached in champagne with a kiwi and mango cream sauce, and a vegan sauté with ginger, jalapeños, and tofu, but you'll find the chef's current passion in the roster of nightly specials. Some find Soule Domain pricey, but if you're looking for a place with a sterling menu where you can hold hands by candlelight, this is it.
