Formerly Caesar's Tahoe, MontBleu opened in summer 2006, and the tired Roman theme is gone. In its place, you'll find a less garish -- though still slightly kitschy -- contemporary style. In the guest rooms, the major change has been only the bedding, which has been upgraded to include down comforters. Most rooms have oversize tubs, king beds, two telephones and a view of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains -- but many overlook the parking lot's glaring lights. Famous entertainers sometimes perform in the 1,600-seat MontBleu Theater (formerly Circus Maximus). Pros: Indoor pool, first-class spa. Cons: Can get noisy.

Just got back from a weekend staying at the Montbleu Resort and boy was it a great time. I am a local and did some gambling over at the casino at Montbleu and was sent an offer for 2 free nights in the hotel. Room was great, loved the jacuzzi tub in the room. A nice getaway from home, even though its in the same town. Recommend this hotel to anyone!
