High Camp

Fodor's Review:

You can ride the Squaw Valley cable car up 2,000 vertical feet to High Camp, which at 8,200 feet commands superb views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains. In summer you can go for a hike, sit by the pool at the High Camp Bath and Tennis Club, or have a cocktail and watch the sunset. In winter you can ski, ice-skate, or snow-tube. There's also a restaurant, lounge, and small Olympic museum.
