Balboa Café

Fodor's Review:

The top choice for lunch in the Village is also a romantic, if loud, spot for dinner. Aside from having the best burger in the valley, Balboa serves a varied menu of contemporary California cuisine, including steak frites and Cobb salad at lunch, and roasted quail, Muscovy duck breast, and grilled venison chops at dinner. The bar is a top choice for cocktails, but occasionally sports fans colonize the place and decibel levels go off the charts.
