Eldorado Review

In the middle of glittering downtown, the resort's huge tower has rooms overlooking either the mountains or the lights of the city. Decorated in neutral tones, the rooms are sedate compared to the splashy decor in some areas of the hotel, like the Fountain of Fortune with its massive Florentine-inspired sculptures. But accommodations aren't the main draw for guests who are more interested in the Eldorado's many entertainment and dining options. La Strada ($$-$$$; dinner only, closed Wednesday and Thursday) serves great northern Italian cooking in a romantic room; Roxy's ($$$-$$$$; dinner only) serves wood-oven-roasted and grilled meats and seafood in an over-the-top, faux-European courtyard.
