Black Rock Canyon and Jumbo Rocks campgrounds each have one accessible campsite. Nature trails at Oasis of Mara, Bajada, Keys View, and Cap Rock are accessible. Some trails at roadside viewpoints can be negotiated by those with limited mobility.

Admission Fees and Permits

Park admission is $15 per car, $5 per person on foot. The Joshua Tree Pass, good for one year, is $30. Free permits—available at all visitor centers—are required for rock climbing.

Admission Hours

The park is open every day, around the clock. The park is in the Pacific time zone.

ATMs/Banks

There are no ATMs in the park. ATMs and banks can be found in Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree.

Cell-Phone Reception

Cell phones don't work in most areas of the park. Pay phones are at Oasis Visitor Center and Black Rock Canyon Campground; there are no telephones in the interior of the park.
