Lost Horse Mine
Lost Horse Mine Review
This historic mine, which produced 10,000 ounces of gold and 16,000 ounces of silver between 1894 and 1931, illustrates gold prospecting and mining activities. The 10-stamp mill is considered one of the best preserved of its type in the park system. The site is accessed via a fairly strenuous 2-mi hike.
