Fodor's Review

All access was scheduled to be closed from late 2014 through May 2015 for major rehabilitation work. Call to confirm. Once open again, this is one of Death Valley National Park's most scenic spots, overlooking a striking panorama of wrinkled, multicolor hills. Although only 710 feet in elevation, Zabriskie Point is a great place to watch the sunrise, but it can be bustling any time of day. Pair it with a drive out to magnificent Dante's View.
