Fireplaces, beamed ceilings, and spectacular views provide a visual feast to match the inn's ambitious menu. Dishes may include such desert-theme items as rattlesnake empanadas and crispy cactus, and simpler fare such as cumin-lime shrimp, lamb, and New York strip steak. An evening dress code (no jeans, T-shirts, or shorts) is enforced. Lunch is served October-May only, but you can always have afternoon tea, an inn tradition since 1927. Breakfast and Sunday brunch are also served.
