Although it's neither as famous or as old as some of its neighbors, Arrowood still produces well-regarded wines, especially the chardonnays, syrahs, and age-worthy cabernets. A wraparound porch with wicker chairs invites you to linger outside the tasting room, built to resemble a New England farmhouse. In fact, if you're more interesting in lounging than learning about their wines, you can pay $5 for a glass to enjoy outside. Tours, offered daily at 10:30 by appointment, conclude with a seated tasting. If you're doing a reserve tasting on a weekend, and you're interested in discovering what Arrowood wines taste like after several years in the bottle, ask whether they happen to have any library wines open they can pour.
