Frog's Leap

Fodor's Review:

Frog's Leap is the perfect place for wine novices to begin their education. The owners, the Williams family, maintain a goofy sense of humor about wine that translates into an entertaining yet informative experience. Why resist a place that dubs one of its wines Leapfrögmilch? They also happen to produce some very fine zinfandel, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and sauvignon blanc. They pride themselves on the sustainability of their operation, and the tour guides can tell you about their organic farming and solar power techniques. The winery includes a red barn built in 1884, an ecofriendly visitor center, and, naturally, a frog pond topped with lily pads.
