A longtime favorite with a charming brick patio out back serves the most authentic Italian food in town. (The Della Santina family, which has been running the restaurant since 1990, hails from Lucca, Italy.) Daily fish and veal specials join classic northern Italian pastas such as linguine with pesto and lasagna Bolognese. Of special note are the roasted meat dishes and, when available, petrale sole and sand dabs.

This place is overrated. The service was slow, the prices higher than they should be, and the food just so-so.
