Gundlach-Bundschu

Fodor's Review:

Gundlach-Bundschu may look like a stern gun bunker at first glance, but it's a lot of fun to visit. They let their hair down here, with pop or rock playing on the tasting room's sound system instead of the typical soft classical music. But they're serious about wine and craft some outstanding reds, like the cabernet sauvignon. Climb up the hill from the tasting room and you can find a breathtaking valley view (and a perfect picnic spot).

  • Cost: Tasting $5-$10
  • Open: Daily 11-4:30
