Fans of pinot noir will surely want to stop at this surprisingly opulent winery off a meandering country road in Forestville. Here grapes from the cooler areas of the Russian River valley, Sonoma coast, and other regions are turned into crisp chardonnays, old-vine zinfandels, and a wide variety of pinots, many of which are single-vineyard wines. Call ahead if you're interested in scheduling a tour of the barrel room ($10, not including tasting) or a seated tasting of library wines ($25).
