Kenwood Inn and Spa Review
Buildings resembling graceful old haciendas and mature fruit trees shading the courtyards make it seem like this inn has been here for more than a century (it was actually built in 1990). French doors opening onto terraces or balconies, fluffy featherbeds, and wood-burning fireplaces give the uncommonly spacious guest rooms, many with tile floors, a particularly romantic air. A swimming pool, Jacuzzis, and saunas pepper three atmospheric courtyards, and you could easily spend an afternoon padding from one to another in your robe and slippers. The spa is intimate but well equipped.

My girlfriend and I decided to stay here on a fall romantic getway to wine country. WOW!! This place was everything and more than we hoped. From the moment you pull off the road a gorgeous Tuscan style villa emerges form the trees, so gorgeous and welocming. The staff at check in was wonderful and so were the grounds. The beautiful comfortable and well appointed lobby opened onto a stunning court yard with rare plants, colorful flowers, all done with a personal attention to detail. Tables and seating were placed throughout the courtyard and an outdoor fireplace warmed guest who were dining at the restuarant or the in premises adorable wine bar. We were led to ur room and fell in love the minute we opened the door. It looked as if we had stepped into a room in the Italian country side. Warm tones, a king sized overstuffed bed, a crackling fireplace with wine waiting. Our terrace overlooked the pool and the unbeliavble vegetation. All of it superb. The breakfast in the courtyard every morning was divine. Both for the taste and the atmosphere amoingst the foliage and water fountains. We had an in room massage for two and to this day I have never had one as good. Our masseuses left and a champagne breakfast was delivered to us which we ate on our terrace. It was one of the most relaxing and romantic experiences of my life. The Inn is also perfectly located and close to many vineyards, and Napa across the mountain. Our week in wine country was really special and unforgettable and The Kenwood Inn was the biggest part of it. I HIGHLY recommend this property if you are looking to spurge a bit. I will definitely be back!
