Book NowVillagio Inn & Spa Review
The luxury here is quiet and refined, not flashy as is evident in a stroll along fountains and clusters of low buildings to the pool, where automated misters cool the sunbathers. Streamlined furnishings, subdued color schemes, and high ceilings enhance a sense of spaciousness in the guest rooms. Each room also has a fireplace and, beyond louvered doors, a balcony or patio. The spa has huge "suites" big enough for small groups, as well as individual treatment rooms, spread out over 13,000 square feet. Rates include afternoon tea, a bottle of wine, and a generous buffet breakfast—and as the hotel is near the town center, you'll be right next to all those outstanding restaurants.

This property just doesn't measure up to the price. The breakfast buffet was very good, the room clean and nice. The staff was universally friendly and upbeat. The bed was comfortable. But. . . The chairs in the room and on the small patio were very uncomfortable. I had to call for a hair dryer and the coffee pot had not been emptied. The exterior second floor room caught the noise from the nearby highway. The air conditioning equipment was noisy and drafty, the kind of wall mounted unit you find in much cheaper motels. Did not use the spa, but did use the adjacent gym. It was not owned by the hotel but adequate, nothing special. Overall, disappointed based on price. But, hey, I guess this is Napa, right?

Our room was upgraded upon check-in to an inner perimeter room which was very nice. There was a fireplace, complimentary botle of wine upon arrival, a sunken tub, robes, turndown service, full amenities.
We loved lounging by the pool after our amazing Champagne buffet breakfast which was excellent. The best buffet we've had at a hotel in a long, long time. The pool area is gorgesou with full size padded lounge chairs and cabanas. The jacuzzi was very nice and we loved the location, right across the street from Ad Hoc and Redd where we enjoyed meals.
The concierge gave us several tasting passes which was nice. We will definitely return to the Villagio. There is construction going on in the front, the new spa will be completed in 2008.
