Iron Horse Vineyards

Fodor's Review:

Down a one-lane country road from Forestville, Iron Horse Vineyards makes rich, creamy sparkling wines as well as estate chardonnays, pinot noirs, and a late-harvest viognier dessert wine. Three hundred acres of rolling, vine-covered hills, barnlike winery buildings, and an outdoor tasting area with a view of Mount St. Helena make for a beautifully rustic stop. Tours are available by appointment on weekdays.
