Fodor's Review

At one of Tucson's oldest and most elegant restaurants, dine on the patio overlooking the lush grounds or enjoy the view from the dining room, which has Southwestern details from the 1930s. The culinary range here is broad, from roasted duck in a tart cherry demi-glace to a vegetarian tomato and mushroom cannelloni. Locals mostly come for weekday power breakfasts, business or special occasion lunches, and Sunday brunch.

great place, highly recommended

beautiful historic place with wonderful gardens, great pool area for lunch or snacks. highly enjoyable croquet watching on patio. service friendly and impeccable. food delicious, vichysoisse and club sandwiches are great as is the pink margarita made with cacti extract. definitely worth a visit, old style town with all its charm.

Lovely to look at - Sad to taste!

Very likely the most lovely setting in Tucson and a favorite of the "old money" set. That being said, the service was "ardent", the selections dull, the food mediocre and served in stingy portions...

Great service, so-so food

Not worth the price, given the myriad of better options in Tucson such as Cafe Terra Cotta.

Top Shelf Experience

Restaurant at Arizona Inn is lovely but quite formal. No Tex-Mex here! Menu, food, service and atmosphere were all quite exceptional. Chef does some very creative things, especially with salads and entrees.

This is not resort cuisine

If you think resort food is low fat and tastelees, you are in for a surprise. The specials are exceptional. A young staff is eager to please. A well priced wine list.

Blue-Plate Specials for Blue-Blooded Blue-Hairs

A staid menu, with uneven execution, often spotty service by a very inexperienced staff ("you want ketchup with that filet mignon?"). Popular with locals who haven't realized that much better restaurants have opened in the last 40 years...
