Fodor's Review:

Italian, French, and Northern Californian cuisines influence Elle's menu. You can choose from pasta and risotto dishes, including squash ravioli with spinach, mushrooms, and sage butter, or try the grilled venison in roasted-garlic sauce with polenta. Servers provide expert assistance in selecting the perfect wine—from the nearly 90 vintages available (all from California, Oregon, and Washington), 45 can be ordered by the glass. The dining area is open and expansive.
