Kingfisher is a standout for American cuisine. The emphasis is on fresh seafood, but the kitchen does baby-back ribs and steak with equal success. Try the delicately battered fish-and-chips or the clam chowder on the late-night menu, served from 10 PM to midnight. Bright panels of turquoise and terra-cotta, black banquettes, and neon lighting make for a chic space.

I was disappointed in the seafood options here. As one of the few seafood restaurants in town, I was hoping they would have a wider selection of shellfish. No crab or lobster on the menu. The scallops were good, but both my husband and I had overly salty vegetables. Over-priced for the quality of the food.
