¢-$, Southwestern, Northwest
Fodor's Review:
The food is fine, but what stands out here is the location -- inside a wildlife sanctuary, surrounded by desert gardens. The Southwestern interior has Mexican tile, light wood, and a cobblestone patio. Dine outside to watch hummingbirds and butterflies. House favorites include tortilla soup with avocado, served with bread and scones baked on the premises, and grilled raspberry-chipotle chicken. Open daily 8 to 5, the Tea Room is popular for Sunday brunch -- which can mean long waits in high season.
