Fodor's Review

For a real desert experience, head to this B&B on 5 acres near the Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park West. The last 1.5 miles are on a dirt road. All rooms have private patio entrances and look out onto a lovely central courtyard. The Southwestern-style furnishings include Mexican equipales (chairs with pigskin seats) and tile floors. A full vegetarian breakfast served on fine china is included, and there's a media room (with the only TV) in case you need

a break from the quiet.

Sunset Magazine Cactus Garden

You feel like you are in the middle of a lush cactus garden straight out of Sunset Magazine. Abundant wildlife, cottontail rabbits, deer, many birds. A covered patio for each room. Room Dos was smallish, but overall ambience was wonderful. Cannot say enough about the breakfast and wonderful setting overlooking the garden and valley beyond. April of 2004, many cactii blooming and wildlife active. Will stay there again. Very relaxing for several

days, and near Museum and Saguaro NP and Gates Pass Road.

Just what you imagined.

Stayed a couple of nights here in Feb. 2000. A wonderful experience. The courtyard area was excellent. Close to Saguaro Nat'l. Monument West and the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with an outdoor "ramada' style sitting area with a gate that leads to the trail to the hot tub "ramada". Great place for viewing the big southwestern sky and there was a telescope for closer looks. You also have another door leading

to the interior courtyard where you can have coffe or tea and read the daily paper or local restaurant menus while waiting for breakfast. The owners were great with directions and recommendations. A nice quiet place with wonderful southwestern ambience. I will return.
