Fodor's Review:

This film studio-cum-theme park, originally built for the 1940 motion picture Arizona, has been used to shoot countless movies, such as Rio Bravo (1959) and The Quick and the Dead (1994), and the TV shows Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and Highway to Heaven. Actors in Western garb perform and roam the streets talking to visitors. Youngsters enjoy the simulated gunfights, rides, stunt shows, and petting farm, while adults might appreciate the screenings of old Westerns and the little-bit-bawdy Grand Palace Hotel's Dance Hall Revue. There are plenty of places to chow down and to buy souvenirs.

  • Cost: $14.95
