Trained in Paris, chef-owner Steve Schultz returned to Tucson to create his own contemporary cuisine, a fusion of French, Californian, and Southwestern flavors; the result is well-prepared, exquisitely presented meals. For a starter, try the foie gras with a potato pancake. Main courses include soup or salad made with fresh (and often exotic) produce from the U of A's greenhouses.

We eat at Red Sky for special occasions and we are never disappointed. We hail from NYC so we are familiar with good food & service and Red Sky could make it in NYC. The food is always fabulous - cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. We have never experienced the poor service others are alluding to, however, I do have to agree that it is way too loud for a nicer restaurant. The newer location is lovely, however, despite loving that they offer live music, I hate that it is too loud to carry on any conversation. Music in a restaurant of that caliber should be background, not center stage. Even without the music the restaurant tends to be overwhelmingly loud, however, it will not stop us from eating there. It is hard for me to believe that Pinnacle Peak gets a better review than Red Sky - who are these people giving these reviews??? Please try Red Sky. We have taken endless visitors from out of town (CA, NY) etc., to Red Sky and without fail everyone of them has been blown away by the food. You will NOT be disappointed.

I've visited several times, sometimes with my spouse, other times with small groups of friends and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and the service everytime I've been there as been solid and friendly. Depending on the table it can be a bit noisy, but I've never had a problem conversing over it (maybe I'm just a bit loud myself anyway). Excellent food for the value - I enjoy returning whenever I feel like celebrating.
