Fodor's Review:

Attractions include a 16-inch public telescope; the impressive Star Theatre, where a multimedia show brings astronomy to life; an interactive meteor exhibit; and a Mineral Museum, which exhibits more than 2,000 rocks and gems, some quite rare. Bring a camera—special adapters allow you to take pictures through the telescopes.

  • Open: Exhibits Wed. 6 PM-9 PM, Thurs. and Fri. 9-3 and 6 PM-9 PM, Sat. 12-9, Sun. 12-5. Planetarium show times vary. Observatory Wed.-Sat. 7 PM-10 PM
