This turn-of-the-20th-century ranch is run by the Arizona chapter of the Nature Conservancy. Five casitas with kitchens sit in the pristine grassland foothills of the Galiuro Mountains, four around a courtyard hacienda-style. The fifth, a stone cabin set off by itself for more privacy, is the only unit open to families with children. The ranch has a visitor center, 22 mi of hiking trails, a guided, ¾-mi nature walk on Saturday at 9 AM, and private natural hot springs. There's a two-night minimum from September to May, and a three-night minimum on holiday weekends.
