School House Inn Review
You might flash back to your classroom days at this B&B, a schoolhouse built in 1918 at the height of Bisbee's mining days. Perched on the side of a hill, the two-story brick building has a pleasant outdoor patio shaded by an oak tree. The inn's rooms all have a theme—history, music, library, reading, arithmetic, art, geography, and the principal's office—reflected in the decor.

Roxannb7, from Portland, Oregon
We arrived at the B&B at about 3:30, check in time is from 3-5 pm, only to find the door locked. We rang the doorbell and then shortly after knocked with the same results. After another few minutes we called the establishment only to be told that we have to ring or knock and ask permission to enter his home. When the proprietor finally let us in, it was to find out that he can't hear the doorbell if he is checking someone in.
He gives us the spiel about how the B&B came about and how he and his wife became the owners.
After bringing our stuff in we looked into all the rooms that weren't occupied. The rooms are really cute with different themes according to school subjects.
The rooms have high ceilings so they can be drafty, I was cold most of the night with only a light weight quilt, so if you are coming when it isn't hot be sure to bring warm jammies.
The next morning we go down for breakfast which is only from 8-9... they have name cards at each of the tables so you sit accordingly. The owner served the other two couples at our table, then the rest of the room... by the time we were served the others at our table were done eating. Not sure why he didn't serve the entire table
before moving onto other tables.....
The food was pretty good, but if you have any food allergies best to say so when making reservations as there isn't a menu jsut whatever they put in front of you.
